Oliver the Cat

{Sketchbook, 2009}
I had a few minutes before bed to draw in my sketchbook tonight. Its been awhile since I drew Oliver from life, so I took a crack at it. He loves sitting in the windows now that the weather is warm and he can breathe the fresh air through the screen. I've been taking him out on his kitty harness every day too (which he LOVES). We've have had Oliver for a little over a year now and he's grown so much! He's a wonderful little companion...even if he is a little too talkative sometimes!! *meow* In the next few weeks I should have some more illustration based projects to post that I am currently working on. I look forward to sharing them soon!

I love his stripes! What a cute kitty! My cat loves to sit on the porch, watching. We call him our guard cat. Its very cool to watch him. Nice sketch!

nice sketch! that's so great that you are able to take Oliver out outside on his harness–sounds like he's pretty "dog" like minus the meows.
