Illustration Friday - Muddy

{Prisma Pencils on Toned Paper, 2010}
From what I've heard, frogs really enjoy practicing their ballet moves in muddy places. I did a colored pencil piece ( much quicker than paint!) this week because I have some oil pieces in my studio that I would like to finish up fairly soon! You can buy this piece HERE.

Illustration Friday-Leap

In honor of leap year happening on this particular Friday, IF's theme was "leap". All I could think about was little leaping frogs. I added a little inspirational message too! I did it in alkyd oils this afternoon, but had to wait for it to dry. I will be selling it in my etsy shop tomorrow.
Let me know what you think!

I think the colors in the picture are more accurate. My scanner tends to oversaturate blues especially. Though the photo was taken with too much sunlight, so it's dull...can't win!
