A Million Little Things

I wanted to make sure I did something to note Earth Day on my blog, even if it was small. I've been absent from posting this week as I prepare for the SCBWI:Iowa conference in Bettendorf this weekend. I also have several jobs that are getting wrapped up all at once. Its been crazy. I get a little overwhelmed at times, but I would rather have that than complete boredom! I'll have some neat posts coming up next week as things settle down a tad.

Earth Day Sketch

When I was a kid, we always got to bring home a tree on Earth Day and plant it. One of the ones I planted at my parents' house has gotten big...but I guess it HAS been 16 years or so! Wow time flies, I remember getting on the bus for the first time in kindergarten! I did this little sketch as a homage to those wonderful little saplings the school sent home with us.
