Illustration Friday-Pet Peeve

When I used to work at an art supply store, I would get some of the stupidest questions...REALLY! This is what I always imagined was on the other side of the line. I did this last year after one very aggravatingly long phone conversation about how it was MY fault that a product didn't work, because she couldn't draw!

That's funny! I think I'll blame my lack of artistic days on my colored pencils, too!!

Nice job on the expression.

Nice work. I really like your illustration style. Your promo cards are beautiful. You should get a lot of work from them.

ha that's a funny story. It reminds me of when I worked customer service and got blamed for many a thing that was way out of my control. Nice drawing too.

Hey good drawing. I like the person's expression. I used to work in an art supply/framing store and I know what you mean. We had someone return a painting set and easel because her picture didn't come out the way she wanted. Unbelievable.

Though I haven't worked in an art supply store ( I would love that ), I have many many years retail experience... I totally relate to this piece!

too funny.
i worked at a frame shop for a very short time, and a lady brought in a poster to be framed. she was incredibly mad at her children for giving her a gift that she had to PAY to have framed. I tried to lighten her up by telling her she could always use thumbtacks. :)
