When I saw the word for Illustration Friday this week I immediately thought of doing a drawing of Jesus. Drawing this was a way of reminding myself that I can surrender my fears and worries to Christ instead of trying to take the world on all by myself. I'm also working on illustrating a story for a Catholic Publisher so iconography has been circulating in my mind lately. I loved drawing this!

Your Jesus looks so kind.
How can one not surrender to so much kindness?
really well drawn
Amen :o)
Nicely drawn!
It looks as though you enjoyed it.
I've been taking on to much and I thank you for the reminder.
Beautifully done, Candace!
Great drawing. I am always interested in seeing different rendering of Jesus.
What a lovely smile on Jesus. Nice job. Good luck with your submission to the catholic publication!
And I love this drawing. :) So glad you did it, because it turned out great!
ficou muito bonito!jesus the best!
nice image but when people were crucified, the nail was put through the wrists, not the palms. The hands would just tear and the person would fall off.
Your drawing is gorgeous, it really resembles the personality of Jesus because of the genuine smile, and the forgiving and peaceful illustration.

Excellent drawing. It really expresses the humble delight of Jesus and is a wonderful contrast compared to the main pictures of Jesus on the cross.
How long did this drawing take
