{Pencil Drawing Colored in Photoshop}
"When she read his letters, they sounded SO similar to the way he spoke to her. It was almost as if he were there. Almost."
I really struggled with the prompt this week. I wanted to stray from the obvious, since I was so literal last week. I spent a little time on the drawing, but the Photoshop coloring is a little shoddy...
Man alive! I have so much to do this week!? How does everybody else get it done? I still have to make my Christmas cards this week! I will post them at a later time when they are all finished. I have a cool idea in my mind...we'll see what it turns out like!

I for one, like it oodles! Love the fact that you have the backdrop of the paper on there too. Great detail.
I think it turned out fine, I really like the use of lined paper. Great IF post as well!
Well, I think it looks great. : )
Good luck with all you have to get done.
This is awesome Candace, as always...
I am a huge fan of your art and you always present the most wonderful pieces. I love that you used traditional and digital - it's fun to see what can be done.
Great!!very fun illo =)
Brilliant and clever! *sigh* my husband was never a big letter writer.
I think this is great! The slightly crumbled paper makes it so interesting.
And I'm with ya about keeping up! I still have a TON of stuff to do for the holidays yet I couldn't pull myself away from doing this prompt.
I thought this was different and cool! Definitely a winner!
