Illustration Friday -Homage 2

This is what I meant to post for Illustration Friday originally, but it wasn't finished soon enough and I needed to take a break, so my first IF is in the post below! I think the bird was cute too, and turned out pretty good for a sketch!

Anyways, this is a portrait of Harold Lloyd, a comedy movie star from the early 1900's to the 40's and beyond. His movies certainly still live on. He's one of my favorite movie stars. I am trading this piece with DaydreamGlass on Etsy, for a suncatcher. You should check out her store, it's really great, colorful stuff, and while your at it, check mine out too!!

Harold Lloyd was one of my Dad's favourites. Such an icon and I feel he's totally under-appreciated...

This is a lovely piece!

Wonderful job of illustrating Harold Lloyd. I've seen some of his old movies and he was very, very funny and skilled. Good work!

Very nice piece. Are these pastelles or do you use colored pencils?
Very good use of light and shadow.

I'm a Buster Keaton man myself, but to each his own, right?

Cheers!
